On the top of Mt. Sirius some 30-50 cm of drift was removed to expose striated bedrock. The reference crack will be in all other images in this series, but its orientation varies.
For the sake of this problem assume the reference crack is north-south with north to the right in this image, that is, the rock rises toward the north.
Which way did the ice flow? Why are some of the striations curved?
